Donate – Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, help children with special needs in China to stay together with their families.

Here’s an example of how your gift can help:

6-year-old Xuan Xuan has been blind since birth. Her parents love her so much, and want to do everything they can to help her thrive. But life is challenging for special needs families in China. The local public school wouldn’t accept Xuan Xuan, because there is no special education program there. But if she could learn to read braille, use directional walking skills, and start sensory therapy then she could enroll in public school.

That’s when her family heard about Hope Station’s Family Strengthening Program. Our team was able to get her set up with a braille teacher, connect her to local resources for the blind, and encourage her whole family along the way.

She is now the first child with blindness to be in the local public school! And even more importantly, her whole family has the support they need to stay together and raise Xuan Xuan in their loving family.
