Sponsor A Family

Children with disabilities in China are at risk of being abandoned.

They are separated from their parents forever because their families aren’t equipped to care for them.

By strengthening families, providing access to therapy and resources, training caregivers, and offering real life support for real life problems, children with special needs can grow up feeling safe, known, and loved.

Sponsor a family for just $40/month to help them KEEP THEIR CHILD and give them the consistent support they need.

Rui Rui's family

Hi, I'm Rui Rui! I live with my parents in Chengdu city. When I was 2 years old, my vision was abnormal and the doctor discovered a tumor in my eyes. My left eye had to be entirely removed, and then I went through chemotherapy treatment for my right eye. My parents love me so very much and are doing everything they can do to help me thrive. But life isn't easy for them or for me.

If you sponsor my family, I will get the skills training I need every week! My family and I will get home visits every month. Hope Station staff will teach my parents more about my disability and medical needs, and give them the relational and practical support they really need to take care of me at home!

Hi! I'm JunJie. I live with my mom, dad, older brother, and grandma. I go to a special needs school, but I also need therapy every week. My mom is my biggest hero, and she loves me so much. It's hard for her to take care of me sometimes though, because many people do not accept me the way I am. I love dancing and listening to music, but the local dance schools won't let me enroll in dance class because I have Down Syndrome.

If you sponsor my family, I will get therapy twice a week, I'll get a private dance teacher just for me, and my parents will get the emotional and practical support they need!

Special Need: Cerebral Palsy

Hao Hao

Hi! I'm Hao Hao. I have a mom, dad, and grandparents. My parents live in the countryside, but my grandma and I live in the big city of Chengdu, because that's where I can get the medical support and therapy that I need. I have Cerebral Palsy, which affects my muscle tone throughout my whole body. Even though I am 5 years old already, I can't sit up on my own. My mama hates being far away from me, but my dad has had a hard time accepting my diagnosis and the impact it has on our family. Thankfully, my grandma is very loving and affectionate and takes care of me the best she can. But she is alone, so I know that the daily struggle is hard for her.

If you sponsor my family, my grandma and I will get home visits every month, and I will get the physical and speech therapy that I need to learn and grow to my full potential. Hope Station will help my grandma and my parents to learn more about my disability, and they will get the emotional and practical support they need to help me thrive!

Hi! I'm Ming Bo. I live with my parents and grandma in the countryside. I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when I was very young. My family is part of the Yi minority group so it's always been difficult for them to get the resources and medical help that I need to thrive.

If you sponsor my family, I will be able to get regular speech and physical therapy. My family will get support visits several times a year, and Hope Station will give them the relational and practical training they really need to understand my disability and help me thrive at home!

Special Needs: Autism

RuiRui's family

Hi! I'm Qing Qing. I’m 9 years old, and I live with my mom in Chengdu. When I was 2 and a half, I was diagnosed with autism. Since then, life has looked a little different for our family.
My parents are divorced, so it’s just me and my mom now. She loves me so much, but raising me on her own hasn’t been easy. Some days feel really heavy for her, and I know she wishes she had more support.
But I’m also full of joy and curiosity! I love learning in my own way and being with people who understand me. What I need most is a community that will help me keep growing, and a team that can stand alongside my mom so she doesn’t feel so alone.
If you sponsor my family, we’ll receive regular home visits, and I’ll get the therapy and support I need to reach my potential. My mom will also learn more about autism and how to help me thrive, while having people walk with her on this journey.

Hi! I'm Xin Yang. I live in Chengdu with my parents and my older brother. I am growing up with autism, and it's very hard on my parents. My mom stays home with me every day, so she isn't able to work. Since only one of my parents are working, it is hard for us to afford the therapy services that I need in order to learn and grow.
If you sponsor my family, I will be able to get more speech and behavioral therapy every week. My family and I will get home visits every month from the Hope Station staff, and they will support and encourage my parents as they raise me. My whole family will get the relational and practical support they really need to make sure our family can stay together forever!
