Sponsor A Family

Every year, around 100,000 children are abandoned.

98% of them have special needs.

Children are left out in the cold because their families aren’t equipped to care for them.

By strengthening families, providing access to therapy and resources, training caregivers, and offering real life support for real life problems, children with special needs can grow up feeling safe, known, and loved.

Sponsor a family for just $40/month to help them KEEP THEIR CHILD and give them the consistent support they need.

Special Need: Cerebral Palsy

Rui Rui's family

Hi, I'm Yun Han! I live with my parents and grandparents and baby brother. I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy early in life, but it has been difficult for my family to afford the therapy that will help me thrive. My grandma is my main caretaker during the day, and my biggest champion. She used to take me to therapy at the hospital, but recently we haven't been able to afford it.

If you sponsor my family, I will get the physical and occupational therapy I need every week! My family and I will get home visits every month. Hope Station staff will teach my parents and grandparents more about my disability and medical needs, and give them the relational and practical support they really need to take care of me at home!

Special Need: Down Syndrome

RuiRui's family

Hi! I'm JunJie. I live with my mom, dad, older brother, and grandma. I go to a special needs school, but I also need therapy every week. My mom is my biggest hero, and she loves me so much. It's hard for her to take care of me sometimes though, because many people do not accept me the way I am. I love dancing and listening to music, but the local dance schools won't let me enroll in dance class because I have Down Syndrome.

If you sponsor my family, I will get therapy twice a week, I'll get a private dance teacher just for me, and my parents will get the emotional and practical support they need!

Boy, born in 2011
Special Need: unidentified, physical and cognitive delay

RuiRui's family

Hi! I'm HaBu. I live with my parents and little brother in the countryside. Since I was a baby, my parents have felt something might be wrong. I was always getting bruised so easily, and they kept finding injuries on me that they didn’t how I'd gotten. Even now as a 13 year old, I don't know how to speak and I am physically very fragile. As a minority family, it is difficult for us to get access to the medical and financial resources, so I have never been to the hospital for a diagnosis.

If you sponsor my family, I will be able to go to the hospital for the first time ever so my family can get a better understanding of my medical needs. My family will get support visits several times a year, and Hope Station will give them the relational and practical training they really need to take care of me at home!
