This Giving Tuesday, give hope to children with disabilities and their families in China.
Giving Tuesday is here! Around the world, people join together today to make the world a better place.
And today also kicks off our “Hope In Every Home” campaign!
By the end of the year, we need to raise $46,000 to bring hope into every home raising a child with disability. Many of these families have experienced real hopelessness, as they fight for their child in a culture where children with disabilities are not supported or championed.
>>> Mothers sit next to their child in school every day because there are no special education supports.
>>> Fathers work multiple jobs so they can put food on the table after paying for their child’s expensive speech and physical therapy.
>>> Families walk this journey of raising a child with disability alone. Hopeless for their child’s future.
Right now, the 19 families like this in our Family Strengthening Program are already receiving life-changing support. Encouragement and companionship from our staff, community with other families, parent training, therapy for children, and so much more.
Reaching our fundraising goal will enable us to bring hope into twice as many new families’ homes.
