Welcome to our Virtual Chinese New Year Party!

We’re excited to celebrate the Lunar New Year with YOU!

Please take your time to enjoy and interact with this event!
You can hit PAUSE or REWIND anytime if you missed something, need a bathroom break, or want to gather supplies for an activity.

During this event, we will:

  • Make Chinese paper lanterns
    • You will need: paper, markers, scissors, tape, string
  • Make a Chinese snack
    • You will need: flour, water, eggs, green/spring onions, bean paste or ketchup, hot sauce, and plain tortilla chips
  • Learn to say “Happy New Year” in Chinese
  • Learn a Living Room Lion Dance
    • You will need: space to move and a blanket
  • Share stories about the children Hope Station serves in China
  • Pray for vulnerable children and families

What You Need to Know:

  • Download your optional Event Kit here – includes craft printables, a recipe card, a Chinese characters tracing guide, and a prayer guide

  • If you signed up in advance, we’ll send you an email reminder an hour before the event starts.
