Mother’s Day 2020

“Look! I got flowers! I got flowers!”
One mother from our Family Strengthening Program went around her neighborhood waving her flowers and shouting to all her neighbors with pride.

We visited each local family in our Family Strengthening Program this past week to bring flowers to each mother for Mother’s Day. It was so touching to see their faces light up as they received the flowers — such a simple thing. But sometimes the simplest things are the most powerful. One sweet mama said, “You changed my life. I feel much more hopeful since I started receiving support services from Hope Station.”

We also sent flowers to the caregivers at both our partner orphanages. A rose for each heroic lady. The orphanages doors are still closed to visitors, but we couldn’t let the day pass without showing them our deep appreciation for their continuous hard and heartfelt work.

Happy Mother’s Day

…to mothers, grandmothers, aunties, caregivers, children’s workers, and any other ladies who devote themselves to a child’s wellbeing.
You are so loved.
